Thank you for another record-setting year!!!

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

I want to thank you all for supporting our class clothing drive for Note in the Pocket !! This year has been another record-setting year. In May, we donated 219.5 pounds of clothing which brings us to an annual total of 1,691.5 pounds of clothing donated. That is a new record for one class.

Thank you for all of the donations! Thank you for all of the support! Thank you for making sure our neighbors in need have good, quality clothes to wear to school each and every day! Thank you for helping to teach the students about how something so simple as donating clothes can have such an amazing impact on the lives of other people living in our community! Thank you! You all rock!

I would also like to thank all of the families at Apex Elementary who have donated over the past three years. Our school wide total for three years is 4,320.5 pounds of donated clothing! I am in awe of your generosity and willingness to support other Wake County families. Thank you!

Have an awesome weekend,
Mr. V.

EOG Lunches

Dear Parents/Guardians,

During EOGs (May 30th and 31st), we will be eating lunch in our rooms. Those students who buy lunch every day will be getting a bag lunch. Mrs. Liles and I will be taking those orders with those students over the next few days.

If you want your son or daughter to order a bag lunch on testing days, please have your child come see their home room teacher by Wednesday. We have to place the orders by Friday.

If your child does not usually order lunch or buy lunch, please remember on testing days that we won’t be going to the cafeteria and your child should bring a lunch with them.

Thank you.

Have a great day,
Mr. V.
